BlackBerry Game Development: Using Open HTML5 Technology
Games made using the native programming language are more preferred by developers for a lot of reasons. The goal of this thesis has been to get an insight in handheld software development - and the BlackBerry in particular - including a show of the capability of HTML5 in producing games in the same level as those made using native or even Flash. This thesis would like to show an easy to learn and powerful development language for mobile computing, as an alternative to the native language. To achieve this, HTML5 was used such as canvas, localstorage, audio, and JSON. |
