BlackBerry Apps Development Challenge
@ Student Conference on I.T. Education (SCITE) 2013

attended by 3,000 students in two days

Students from Region 3 of Philippines show off their mobile applications, and the faculty show off their BlackBerry utility apps

December 14, 2012 Ms. Erlinda Casela-Abarintos presented the guidelines to the SCITE Region 3 BlackBerry Apps Development Challenge. Encouraging other institutions to take part in BAP



Congratulations to "LoGeeks" with their game " Underwater Adventure" (from Gordon College ) for winning the Best BlackBerry Game, and to "Kamote Empire" with their app "QTT" (from Gordon College) for winning the Best BlackBerry Utility App. Winners received cerrtificates, gold medals, and BlackBerry Playbooks

Judges use the BlackBerry Dev Alpha as competitors PITCH their games. The competition was joined by seven teams,  one from Bataan Heroes Memorial College, five from Gordon College, and one from Lyceum of Subic Bay

9 teams, 9 applications made for BlackBerry were presented during the  celebration of the 12th CCS Week
