In Love with Your Talent
by Kamote Empire

We have been friends for three hours and fifteen minutes
Casting our shadows over the infinite dark
making time for all times we actually never had
Outside the boundaries of fiction, edged, designed

In a house of cards we stand, one breath could wreck
holding only spades and clubs
hearts and diamonds burned
the ones we love are lost in the shuffle

Pandora's box got opened, Yggdrasil now in flames
Listen to the lullaby of falling debris
We grew up too fast, falling apart
This is the cue for us to laugh

Before you knock me down
Save yourself from drowning
If this is infused in your solutions
I'll wave my hand as I watch you drown

A cool trivia by kamote: Yggdrasil, the Norse World Ash, the giant mythological Tree that holds together the Nine Worlds or realms of existence is very hard to spell.

(Spell "Yggdrasil")

Thinking

Thinking

Thinking

(After 2 seconds of thinking...)

Oddly enough my half ding-a-ling blogsite has hit an all time number of hits.

My blog is so sensationalized and all I had to do was do absolutely NOTHING.

My heartfelt thanks to the visitors of my blog who often times leave my blog saying "What in the world is this guy talking about?"

And a million thanks to the people that spread my blog around, I couldn't do this alone so thank you for spreading my blog. It takes a lot of hard work to advertise but with people like you, life of a lazy blogger couldn't be more easier.

I also followed the entry page of recent visitors of my blog and i saw that they type "lamblamination.blogspot.com" at the search text box of both google and yahoo. That is super great news for me because that means that even people who have limited knowldge of the world wide web are prompted to go to my blog. They don't want to be left out I guess. I really can't fathom how the Kamote Empire became an anticipated blog, waiting for my next update wasn't this much exciting for my dog.

Famous or Infamous depending on how you look at your bladder if it is half empty or half full this prompted me to accept my nomination at the wait for it... wait for it...

As of now my writing is set in a stand still for I am busy playing Demigod (a pc game, and not as a misinterpreted power tripper) and orchestrating a plan for an awaited event for the the celebration of human kinetics.

Eulogy for a Soldier, a Friend, a Family Member

Monday, July 20, 2009

Our family mourns the passing of a soldier, a friend, a family member.

He had been adopted into our family a few weeks after his birth. We were inseparable since then. His last name was changed to "Houston" which is the last name of my American uncle who didn't had a second thought into having him as one of his sons like me and my brother.

We had a lot of times we spent together and we always understood each other. We cared for him and he cared so much or us.

Hearing my brother cry that loud for the first time was unbearable, I wasn't also prepared for the crying of my mother.

Our doleful voices, mingled with the sobbing which it was its purpose to stimulate and sustain, rose and fell, seemed to come and go, like the sound of a sullen sea.

Indeed he will be missed.

All we have are two strong feet and all we could do is move forward. We will keep your memories alive and your legacy memorable.

I should not dare to leave my friend,
Because -- because if he should die
While I was gone, and I -- too late --
Should reach the heart that wanted me;

If I should disappoint the eyes
That hunted, hunted so, to see,
And could not bear to shut until
They "noticed" me -- they noticed me;

If I should stab the patient faith
So sure I 'd come -- so sure I 'd come,
It listening, listening, went to sleep
Telling my tardy name, --

My heart would wish it broke before,
Since breaking then, since breaking then,
Were useless as next morning's sun,
Where midnight frosts had lain!

The mother of the debutant with Richard Poon

Months of preparation filled with love and hard work, the day finally came to celebrate the turning of a girl into a lady. From barbie socks to lady stockings, it was an unforgettable night for the debutant.

I and the gang had some parts in helping out at the preparation, preparations which started December 2008. We all shared our God given gifts to show our love to everyone's second mother "Moogee".

I had some parts in the creation of the most extravagant invitation I had seen. I also did the "Soundtrack" of the party which lead to a change of my music taste, I am now singing "Insomia" by Craig David during sleep. Joff and Chris did most of the video which was played throughout the night, they have really been a great help.

I must admit I wasn't easy searching over thousands of the celebrant's photos from 18 years of history as I tried to pick the best of the best.

The night was heart warming and fun. We were all proud of how it turned out.

A few days before the party my kumare tries out her black and pink CLAM dress. We were thinking that a fish tail would fit perfectly for it. We would gladly carry her to the party.

I tested the sound system and the CD's I burned, I took a ride inside an old school Bumble Bee.

A pink bus for a Pink and Black Party. It looks like a bus filled with Barbie.

Chris and I had to go to class even with a typhoon so we had to eat a lot before class because our brains will be complaining again from the calculations of the movement of the satellites with the revolution of the earth.

We rushed to come 2 hours before the party to help in setting up. Chris enjoys his deep slumber.

Mooch listens to "Echoes", my punk rock princess, I'm the garage band prince. Chris didn't change his pose.

Quick we are late for the party, I know a muddy short cut. SO much for newly shined shoes.

Now I know that if you want to enjoy scooba diving during a storm you could use a 5 feet deep pool.

Hotel beds just temp you to jump into them with a hair blower.

I'm thinking, I'm thinking, I'm thinking.

Why Didn't I Stop Watching Adventureland

Friday, July 17, 2009

I would often stop watching a movie in the first minute and I feel that the movie is going nowhere and I would rather stare at a lamp than continue but Adventureland caught my ears.

Full of humor and nostalgia, Adventureland is a sweet, insightful coming-of-age comedy that will resonate with teens and adults alike.

It didn't have much comedy as it promised but it is definitely WISE.

The story is nothing new, all about first love and all its complexities.

Kristin Stewart wasn't also that great in her character, it was like she wasn't even trying to act, she is not versatile as an actress or maybe she is just simply good at acting out messed up teenagers. I was like watching twilight but her leading man is a geek.

So why didn't I stop watching Adventureland when I know what is going to happen and I would probably be wasting more than an hour of my busy life? Its because of the cool soundtrack. I hope more movies would come up with an awesome soundtrack like this. I felt like I was warped into 1987, although I still didn't have any idea of the alphabet back then. Yo La Tengo and The Cure are untouchables, enough said.

ROCK ME AMADEUS, play that 20 times in a day.

Adventureland Soundtrack
1. Satellite Of Love - Lou Reed
2. Modern Love - David Bowie
3. I’m In Love With A Girl - Big Star*

How I miss literature so much

This was supposed to be a draft but it turned out I accidentally posted it.

Ten days ago a guy unexpectedly bumped into his past, he always had two visions, his left eye always looked at the past and his right always looked into the future.

It rained hard and he was forced to take shade in a smoke filled bar. Turns out the best friend of his ex-girlfriend was there, also taking cover from the rain.

The usual faked shocked impression was made then quick thinking of what to say next was scanning in both their currently smoked exposed brains.

After the cliche greetings like "How are you?", "Oh you lost weight" it was dead silent.

The girl opened up first, "I heard your lucky to get the job you really wanted, unlike me I work at a techno park". The guy humbly smiled. "I rarely visit your friendster profile, but I always get a laugh everytime even if I have no idea what you are talking about", said the girl. She continued "You were always in trouble in our college days every time you write". "My semester wouldn't be complete without a call from the guidance office or the college president, but I always had been in the dean's list", the guy smilingly replied.

The girl changed the topic, "Don't be mad, I read your DIARY". Unsure if trying to correct his old friend "Don't you mean blog?". "No your diary, the one you and Carmie wrote, when you two were dating you two wrote diaries that you exchanged each other everyday?", said the girl. Eyebrow raised, "Isn't that a bit embarrassing? It was corny and I sounded like a total lost romantic back then." He continued "Plus more importantly why is she showing those private messages to everybody? It was a very long time ago, this is starting to become a seven year character assassination, maybe she is still in love with me".

The girl laughed hysterically, "I think not because she is with her second husband now, I think she simply just don't care. I also saw there that you had a crush on me!". "That wasn't very nice showing that diary to everyone, and why is she still keeping that anyway?", said the guy.

Fate has a funny way of going back to you. Another old friend took cover in the same bar and the usual shocked greeting was repeated. Melissa "Hows Jeff?". The guy said "Don't go on I loath him". Melissa so sure of his comment, "Oh yeah you didn't get invited in his wedding even if you are brothers in college". "How do you know that Iwant to rip him because of that?", asked the guy.

Another senseless recollection.

I'm back to school not as a teacher but as a Master of Information Technology with Advance Vulcanizing and Minor in Pumping student. Back to lessons, assignments, projects, and recitations... this time I am the receiver of those grueling task. I am enjoying this so much, studying is really fun. From a Masters of Education to Software Engineering now to computing Signal to Noise Reduction of Data Communication.

I finally got to solve my "compute-the-data-transfer-speed-of-1000-diskettes-in-a-jet-fighter-plane-traveling-at-800-mph". it has bugged me for weeks and now I am impenetrable to mathematical equations.

Hiding the Japanese Squid snack from classmates but the stench fills the air of the air conditioned classroom. Brain food to solve unlimited calculations.

LMAO

Logarithm of 10, Logarithm of 2, Log 2, Log 2, 2Log 2log 2log... Zzz... I can't believe I'm actually solving equations that I thought never mattered. The ratio of 40 winks to preventing your classmates from chatting at YM during class.

MAGIC #1

An Indian found that nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the Computer which can be named as "CON". This is something funny and inexplicable… At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn't answer why this happened!
TRY IT NOW, IT WILL NOT CREATE A "CON" FOLDER

MAGIC #2
For those of you using Windows, do the following:
1.) Open an empty notepad file
2.) Type "Bush hid the facts" (without the quotes)
3.) Save it as whatever you want.
4.) Close it, and re-open it.
Noticed the weird bug? No one can explain!

MAGIC #3
Again this is something funny and can't be explained… At Microsoft the whole Team, including Bill Gates, couldn't answer why this happened!
It was discovered by a Brazilian. Try it out yourself…
Open Microsoft Word and type
=rand (200, 99)
And then press ENTER
And see the magic…..!

I Have no Idea

Wednesday, July 8, 2009

I'm trying to solve these data communication problems. I couldn't care less for the data burst formula because I think my brain just ran away. any help is appreciated.

1. Suppose that data are stored on 800Kbyte floppy diskettes that weigh 1 oz each. Suppose that a Boeing 747 carries 10 tons of these floppies at a speed of 600 mph over a distance of 3000 miles. What is the data transmission rate in bits per second of this system?
2. What is the channel capacity for a teleprinter channel with a 300-Hz bandwidth and a signal-to-noise ratio of 3 dB?
3. A digital signaling system is required to operate at 9600 bps.
1. If a signal element encodes a 4-bit word, what is the minimum required bandwidth of the channel?
2. Repeat part (a) for the case of 8-bit words.
4. Given a channel with an intended capacity of 20 Mbps. The bandwidth of the channel is 3 MHz. What signal to noise ratio is required in order to achieve this capacity?
5. A telephone line with a bandwidth of 100 KHz is known to have a loss of 20 dB. The input signal power is measured as 0.5 watt, and the output signal noise level is measured at 2.5 microwatt. Using this information, calculate the output signal to noise ratio in decibel.

The Dance of ONES and ZEROES

Chapter 2

"The Dance"

One and Zero are two numbers that are the closest yet the farthest. They can never be for One is Something, Zero is nothing.

“Our vast religions
Won’t help us answer
What was pre-destined for us to have
Since long ago.
It’s hopeless”

In a hall where nobody knows nobody, the lights play magnificently like a cinematic sunset. People are doing their own business judging everyone’s mask. Everyone is the same with their mask, what difference is there without it. Some are dancing with the beat of a melancholic music; some are chewing down to the beat of their stomachs. In a hall where nobody knows nobody, the lights play magnificently like a cinematic sunset.

In the darkness stands a figure with a mask that spells death, a man with a death god’s mask. It was Zero, the man feared without a reason, a man who would change Time. This was a masquerade party after all. The world is a big masquerade party and the color of your mask is dictated by who sees your mask. You are dark, you are light… the mask never mattered; it is always in the eye of the foolish beholder. Foolish indeed, pathetic even.

A direct eye contact from east to west, from the well-lighted to the shadowed darkness, Zero tries to look away as a lady standing out from the crowd slowly approaches him. Squeezing herself from the people at the dance floor, a seemingly huntress not taking her eyes to her stagnant prey. Gracefully with her glittering feathered mask she heaved her way to the death god. It was One, the light, the savior of the Time. Dressed as a glittering vampire, seductive yet innocent for no matter how angle you look.

Mask to mask they are inches apart. A cold stare from zero could be seen piercing the look of One, One was undaunted with a glee look, and her eyes are smiling, whispering through Zero’s soul.

One: “May I have this dance a death god?”

Before the self proclaimed death god could disagree he got grabbed by the hand.
Like an older sister pulling a younger brother, One pulled a timid Zero in the middle of the crowded dance floor. A new song plays, timed like the fates are watching their every step.

3:59

The intro plays…

Both do not know which to hold, akward as a death god and a vampire try to be one. They closed their minds and let their bodies flow, they now had perfectly held each other like they have done this before.

3:32

“The night belongs to us
We’re caught in a world of our own
We cling to the hope it would change for us”

Zero: “Why do you dance with me? Don’t get involve in me, I’m a death god”

One just closed her eyes, embraced Zero and rested her head in his shoulder.

One: “I can feel you shaking, that’s cute, your afraid of holding me closer”

2:58

“Is it in vain? Is it too late?
Why did it have to be you than I.
I heard the news today.”

Zero: “I’m a useless dancer”

One: “Are we going to spend this dance with you telling me why we are wrong for each other?”

Zero became silent as he always had been, saying to himself “We are right but we are wrong”.

2:28

“Is this the beginning of our last dance?
Once around the floor, can we do it again?”

One: (Eyes still closed) “Are people staring at us Zero?”

Zero: (emphatic) “No.”

One: “Lier, your not looking at them”

Zero: (A bit embarrased as he moves his stare away from One’s face) “Sorry”

2:06

“I feel the thrill from words we say,
I love you.”

Zero: “You kept your promise, you are the most beautiful woman tonight. “

One: “How would you know when we are all wearing a mask?”

1:47

“Embrace so much tighter
This could be our last together
Heaven sheds tears for the wounded hearts
Our forever has been torn apart”

Zero: “You can wear all the mask you want, say what people want to hear, say what your superiors want to hear, say what close people to you want to hear, they may have taken my insight, my soul, my life but they can never take what I see in you that nobody else does”

One: “The world is a big masquerade party and the color of your mask is dictated by who sees your mask. You are dark, you are light… the mask never mattered; it is always in the eye of the foolish beholder. Foolish indeed, pathetic even.”

One: “Your still shaking hahaha, you always had a contradicting attitude, you always say something you don’t mean just to torture yourself. Your eyes always mean different as you say.”

1:12

“Our vast religions
Won’t help us answer
What was pre-destined for us to have
Since long ago.
It’s hopeless”

Zero: “Aren’t you afraid of what people would say when they see us together?”

One: “No, I couldn’t care less when I’m with the one I’m supposed to be with and not someone I’m forced to be with”

Zero: “I’m a shinigami I’ll have to take your life”

One: “I’m a vampire I’ll have to haunt you”

0:42

“The world it turns with us
Hold me in closer, don’t let go of me
Now we close our eyes and let go to the night
The night we feel alive.”

Zero: "Our first and last dance is about to end."

One: "This will never end. I said it before, I'll go through hell with you"

1...

0...

One and Zero, so near yet so far. They separate with no idea of the future only living for what they had in that four minutes of sin or heaven, who could say, it is always in the eye of the foolish beholder.

The Perfect Smile for Stir Fried Noodles

"It was serendipity that we didn't get to see the ending of serendipity... now that is what I call serendipity" - kamote

Disclaimer: This is based from the belief of my eccentric family about not to take a bath every TUESDAY and FRIDAY as those are days of the Witch and it will make you sick if you do. You also should not go out at noon and swing your sword because you might STEP or SLICE unseen creatures and they would get back to you by doing what you did to them. To remove the curse you have to offer food and let them eat the food’s spirit.

If you believe that this ingenious write-up is about something that is not what it is about then go ahead, believe in talking frogs, warlocks and Kamote power.
This is not a stupid story as you think. Feel the rampage. Torture yourself.

I have been cursed by a Warlock who likes WEED… he took my INSIGHT, my Voodoo Doll, and my VOICE. What was thought to leave a kamote chalk outline. Serendipity is more powerful than divine intervention as divine intervention is a part of serendipity.

It all happened when I was drinking free coffee, it was free and it never came to mind that it contained a high dose of Eszopiclone as the free taste agent is insomniac. A coffee that is ANTI – INSOMIA… awesome.

Anyway the hypnotic agent was more powerful and I was zig-zagging my way home when I stumbled into a cursed stone, fell, but tried to balance myself, stepped on a lucky cricket and kissed a wart infested frog which had signs pointing to it “I’m a princess”.
Turns out this frog was a pet of a WEED loving warlock, he had too much weed that he thought that I am an evil warlock myself. He placed three curses on me. I GOT the FLU!

One
Two
Three
Four, yes four and not three because he is so high on weed.

I don’t know but because of the curse my loyal bodyguard and I went to a Doctor in Tarlac and said that I must complete 18 weeks of Masters of Information Technology. I am now on my way to becoming an engineer and become the scientist I always dreamt, seems the curse was but a divine intervention. Needless to say It wasn’t as useless as everyone thought.

Did I startle your brain there? Oops
