LaMB Lost inTranslation

I have writer's block, or if I have too many ideas going out at once like spikes would that be called writer's block or writer's spill?

I have burned out my last remaining brain cells. I got lost in translation so I am trying to get away as far as I can.

With the many reactions I got from my last post both inside and outside the digital realm I won't be commenting on it because I have no more brain cells left instead I am celebrating the good news of the upcoming "Ghost Busters 3". I am a fan of Bill Murray (Peter of Ghost Busters (1984 - 1989), Voice of Garfield (2004 - 2006) and Bob of Lost in Translation (2003))

I liked Lost in Translation not only because it gave me a few days of depression and then make you realize a great purpose but because

  1. It was the first serious Bill Murray film I saw (Bill even got an Oscar Nomination), mmm... the movie was also funny but it was really the most serious for Murray acting standards.
  2. It was set in Japan
  3. It won best screenplay in the Oscars
  4. and I haven't really watched the movie I just liked the setting which is Japan.
LaMB Lost in Translation

Bob and Charlotte walked a long way having a million things to ask about each others' lives, they are both strangers in a strange world (American / British in Japan)

They settled in a Japanese restaurant
they ate sushi and chicken tamaki
Bob was teary eyed of wasabe
Bob rested his head in Charlotte's shoulder
Bob hesitated
Charlotte rested her head in Bob's shoulder, a feeling missed, Bob is losing his hair

That scene was cut
They now stand underneath an infinite dark star filled sky
They thought of dancing and believed that that star is their reflection seeing as it is brighter as it dims like a light bulb in a shaky circuit

I have a song dedicated to a girl who loves to sleep, I hope that this songs makes her sleep. I would describe the song as a lazy song, laid back singing with simple lyrics which puts me and whoever listens to it in a trance. An emo band with more brains than heart.

Close your eyes.
You're beautiful when you're sleeping.
Tonight may all your dreams come true.
It's so nice to hold you while you're sleeping,
When I'm sleeping next to you.

And what we've got is something special,
And what we are is a perfect match.
And 3000 miles could never come between us,
No matter what we do, it's always you and me and you and
It's always me and you.

I know sometimes it's lonely while you're sleeping.
Well, it's lonely for me too.
It's alright. Just know that while I'm sleeping,
That I'm dreaming of you.

And what we've got is something special,
And what we are is a perfect match,
And 3000 miles could never come between us.
We always have the stars to wish upon from where I'm at,
And where you are.

Good night.
Good night.
Good night.
Good night.

Four LaMB Weddings and a Funeral (An epic tale of Love, Goth, and Chocolate)

Monday, February 23, 2009

"The film follows the fortunes of Charles and his friends as they wonder if they will ever find true love and marry. Charles thinks he's found "Miss Right" in Carrie, an American. This British subtle comedy revolves around Charlie, his friends and the four weddings and one funeral which they attend." -Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994)

Four Weddings and a Funeral was shown when I was in Grade 5, I had no idea what is romantic-comedy back then, in fact I liked watching Four Weddings and Funeral in VHS when I was a kid because I thought it was a horror flick.

NOTE: Even though we know that my Moochi will obliterate me after the Marriage Booth mishap, the funeral was not for me. It was a mishap.

It all started when LaMB performed on a concert with NUMBER 1, NUMBER 2, NUMBER 3 on stage. (You can see that she is being shown in the projected video in close up for everyone to see)

With such talent and grace three handsome men fell in love with her, proposed to her by giving three different gifts: a chocolate cake, a chocolate lollipop, and a chocolate rose

It was very hard for her to decide from the three handsome men so a videoke singing competition was held.

A hard fought competition, Number Two even sprained his left ankle, It got so swollen his shoe wont fit anymore.

In the end everyone was a winner but NUMBER 3 got to hold LaMB near his heart at the stage.

The whole kingdom rejoiced for their new King, King NUMBER 3, a banquet was held, served by singing cooks and waitresses. Everyone was excited for the binding of LaMB and NUMBER 3 but as we know fairy tales have villains, wolves, witches and dragons.

During the wedding a woman disguised herself as LaMB and wanted to get married with NUMBER 3. NUMBER 3 saw beyond her pretty facade and exposed the truth, LaMB was LaMBnapped.

Two goons LaMBnapped LaMB as commanded by the master puppeteer who wanted to get married with NUMBER 3. LaMB used her ninjitsu to escape but got injured in the process.

She was rushed to the Emergency Room

She replaced "Ms. Chase" (why is this dummy named Ms. Chase?)

LaMB had gone through a bypass(?) operation

Did LaMB survive? Did LaMB have the strength to carry on the wedding? Why are we goth? Was there a funeral? find out in our next episode.

The operation was a success and LaMB was placed in the recovery room.

LaMB recovered and NUMBER 3 and LaMB finally got married. Because of the girl who LaMBnapped LaMB said that she only did that because of her admiration for NUMBER 3, she was the brides maid and was even made to wear the vail.

And so the kingdom was once again at peace... and so we thought.

A Story of a laminated Champion Dance Group
(Can You Guess Where I am?)

(^^)Me with my Lamb(^^) All praise LaMB

With my punk / rocker personality it is impossible for me to dance except in the mosh pit. But with the guidance of dance masters my hard body was turned to a dancing champion overnight. We the "JAVAwhatsthis" (our name was derived from the programming language we teach) won 1st prize in the biggest hip hop competition of our school. This is the first I seriously joined a dance competition because my body was not born for such movement, I never thought I had such muscles in my body.

We Want LaMB

We are joined by our Dance Instructors who had been a great source of inspiration to us all

Behind Every Campus Icon is a LaMB

Tuesday, February 17, 2009

I was nominated as a Campus Icon... enough said... Thank you LaMB. The problem is I have to smile when I walk anywhere... Grrr... I want to frown as I walk to plan my world domination. I don't have any idea what they saw in me.

Can You Guess Where I am? Duh

I'm hiring them as LIZ and PATTY for my Death the Kid Cosplay

The Lost LaMB Returned Part 2 (Hell Week)

(Break from Work... Party Time)

After the trip from the mountains a pile of work was left unfinished and tons are impending to rain down on me. The midterms was just finished and Foundation week is coming, I got lost in the translation.

I made a checklist of what I was suppose to do, I tried to be as organized as I can, but I am a mess as always:

TO-DO LIST (that turned out to be DO-OR-DIE (or lose your job) LIST):

  1. create an organizational chart
  2. find pictures of people who you only see once in a blue moon and place them on the organizational chart
  3. listen to a bickering co-worker
  4. run away from the bickering co-worker
  5. practice for the dance competition
  6. practice for the band competition
  7. create a newsletter out of nothing
  8. play WarCraft
  9. create a website for the school
  10. organize the Exhibit Booth for the Foundation week, conceptualize, and make it happen
  11. practice for the dance competition
  12. practice for the dance competition
  13. submit an updated resume
  14. breath
  15. sleep (wait, don't sleep, can't)
  16. live like a campus icon
  17. smile at people because you are nominated as campus icon
  18. don't eat no time
  19. straggle who would dare disturb
  20. Oh yeah... I also have to teach
I must reiterate that I have only a week to finish all of those, now how am I going to play WarCraft if I have to many things to do?

Luckily I have great people who are always there to carry some of the burden with me, hell wouldn't be hell if there are people to make it a heaven WITH you, we had fun with LaMB.

Angst + Angst = LaMB

The Lost LaMB Returned Part 1 (Baguio Trip)

(*The Coolest Group of Teachers I Know*)

I have been lost for more than three weeks now...

without proper sleep
without proper rest
without proper

Since the last time I posted the CCS Week was finished, then we...

Erase...
Delete...
Remove...

I have been trying to finish this post for weeks now (evil laugh) and until now I can't pick the exact words to say, I believe I have sweat too much and drain my brains out.

This is my 1000th edit of this post from a draft and now I finish a long lost LaMB post.

Since the last time I have posted I have...

1. Gone to Baguio (spell Bagiou? Bagoui), a 6 hour travel from our place to celebrate the success of our College of Computer Studies Week, during the whole trip
  • I didn't get any sleep
  • I got tired, tired, tired... Zzz
  • The van ride was very unforgiving only one of my butt cheeks is sitting
  • a giant rested her head on my shoulder
  • the person beside me puked so much she lost 50 lbs.
  • We got lost not once, not twice but thrice in the most remote area in the Philippines
  • OUR DRIVER FELL ASLEEP WHILE DRIVING, believe it or not... during his past life I believe he was a kamikazee
  • I inhaled too much smog, I don't anymore have lungs
  • I wasn't able to bring my LaMB
But nothing could beat the fun we had and the memories we made:

(1...2...3...pose)

Round 1 FIGHT!

Look up in the sky, its a bird?
